One-to-one tuition is one of the most effective ways to learn German. The slightly higher tuition costs are more than compensated for by the time saved. The classic private lessons take place at your home or in our language school. One-to-one German lessons have the advantage that you can choose a specific teacher. With a group class you always have to make compromises. This is not necessary for private lessons. You communicate your goals to the teacher and they structure the lesson accordingly. If you want to look after customers on the phone, this is a focus of the lesson. If everyday communication is important to you, this is on the curriculum.
You not only determine the content, but also the time. Sprachschule Aktiv leaves it up to you and your teacher when and how often you book a lesson.

Sprachschule Aktiv Leipzig is based in the central location of Leipzig Zentrum-Süd, on the fourth floor of the historical Wünschmannhaus building, an approx. 10 mins. walk from the pedestrian zone of the city centre of Leipzig and right in the heart of the student part of the city of Leipzig. Not far away from shops of all kinds, food options are great (bakery, international food) as well as convenience shopping of all sorts is just within a few mintues walking distance from the school. A local bookshop is available for the purchasing of textbooks of all kinds for all our students.

It is in a very convenient area of Leipzig, well connected with the town centre and easy to get to. The classes and teachers were very helpful, with good teaching that got through the course in good time and in good detail. The textbooks are expensive but that is to be expected. Overall a good experience and definitely worth it.
