I really progressed my Russian over the time I spent at this language centre. The detail and level of explanation was far higher than any I have experienced in my language learning journey. Nino my teacher put in lots of effort to make sure I fully understood the complex grammatical concepts of Russian language.

The location of the school is pretty central and the facilities are modern and comfortable.

I studied Russian at Goga for 6 weeks. I studied 1 on 1 lessons 3 hours a day from 5pm to 8pm, 5 days a week. I really enjoyed this time and looked forward to every lesson. My teacher was Nino I am very grateful for this, we got on really well and became good friends. Nino really makes sure you understand everything and won't brush over anything, she also has a great sense of humor and knows great ways to explain things as well as giving me lots of recommendations of things to do in Georgia. My Russian language skills grew a lot but I think think the most important thing is they were really consolidated, there was no stone left unturned. I think I personally overestimated how much I could learn before I got there. There was plenty of extra homework available for after the lesson which would have helped but for me 3 hours a day and some revising at home was enough.

The facilities are great, there is a break room with Tea and Coffee provided and a balcony for smokers. The school is located in Vake which is a nice suburb not too far from the centre. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and a gym close by the school you can use before or after your lessons. I used Air Bnb to find my own accommodation within walking distance to the school. Everything was perfect.

I never met any of the other students. I think it would be a great idea to introduce students or even once a month for example have a morning tea, BBQ etc or some opportunity for the students to mingle, as most of us are in Tbilisi alone and are studying the same thing. I think this could be very beneficial to practice with each other.
I will continue to learn Russian. I would love to return some day.

I had some health issues during my stay in Tbilisi, which were an obstacle to fully being able to use my capacity of learning. My teacher Elena understood this and was able to listen and change the material to what was possible. That made it possible for me to continue my studies. My overall impression of my stay in this school is a good one. I came every weekday and had lessons two hours a day. That was my only connection with the school. The location was good and the room
where I had my lessons likewise OK. My impression of my stay is a good one, much thanks to my teacher Elena who was personal in a very good way and took her job as a teacher very seriously.

Located in a lively and well-to-do area near to the central Rustaveli Avenue, Goga Askurava school is an ideal place to go to learn Russian and refine your language skills. The teachers - especially Nino who I was placed with - are attentive to your specific needs and calibrate the lessons to your exact needs. Lessons were also light-hearted and enjoyable, mixing speaking, reading and grammar. The building is very modern and has kitchen facilities available for all. Would highly recommend to all those looking to improve their language skills!

Goga Askurava Language Centre is conveniently located, and Elena has been a great Russian teacher. She comes to the lessons well prepared, is flexible about the topics we work with, and the lessons are a lot of fun. Elena has a warm personality, offers great conversation and her Russian is easy to understand. In the two months, my Russian has improved significantly, and it has been a joy. Ana has been very helpful, and the people at the language centre are generally a pleasure to talk to. Highly recommended.

I spent three weeks here, doing private lessons with Nino, who is the best Russian teacher I have had by far. Everything was so well explained to me and I improved so much during my time there. The classes were always varied and she took into account particular grammar points that I wanted to discuss. Also, we had a great mix of grammar, text comprehension, conversation and discussing culture. All of the staff were friendly and took the time to get to know me and my level of Russian, rather than just pushing me into a program.

I started off learning Russian here and I think that it was the perfect place to start. They were beyond flexible with any and everything I could have asked for from curriculum to scheduling. Moreover, my teacher provided phenomenal Russian instruction with everything ranging from culture to grammar to reading practice. Within 3 weeks I can say that my Russian improved significantly and I can have basic conversations

if you are looking for a legitimate , professional , and time-worthy center this is the place , not only you will be treated at your own comfort regarding payments , scheduling classes and even changing teachers , you will also advance in your language learning process as fast as your passion drives you ! , i have been learning Russian for 3 months now , and i got most of daily things done in Tbilisi using Russian ! . i recommend this center for any passionate human being who wanna really learn.

I took an intensive one-on-one class with the lovely Nino, who everyday was an inspiration and helped my progress in the direction that was right for me. All the way from the early email introduction, Ana was helpful and ready to answer all my questions, which made it so much easier to start classes during the pandemic. The location of the Centre is perfect, easy to get to from the city center and the office or classroom provided more than plenty of space. Also, it is perfect that you are able to make coffee or tea, if you need it in the nice little kitchen. It also provided for a little social interaction and a chance to practice outside of class, a great option during the pandemic, that allowed for very few social activities.

The teacher was very nice and arranged the lessons after my personal wishes.
Every one tried to make me feel comfortable and confident.
I had a very good time and learned as much as possible in 2 weeks.

I absolutely loved taking lessons at this school. The entire staff was very helpful and friendly, even meeting me down the street to help me find the school. Communication and with the staff was clear and helpful, making scheduling easy. I was especially impressed with my teacher. I learned so much in just one week, and she gave me a wonderful balance of challenge and fun. All in all, the school gave me the confidence I needed to really use my new skills in real world situations with great success.

Whilst already staying in Tbilisi for 2 weeks I arranged last minute to have an hour of Russian lessons a day at Goga Askurava language centre in order to improve Russian I had forgotten from school. The centre was in a good residential neighbourhood, a little hard to find, but very modern and comfortable on the inside once I found it! My teacher (Tamara) was very lovely, flexible and greatly helped me to refresh and expand my Russian, in particular my vocabulary and my spoken fluency. We agreed lesson times and even homework amounts due to what suited me and I was able to fit the classes around other commitments in Tbilisi. Overall everyone at the centre was very friendly to me! I’d recommend! Thank you Tamara and everyone else!

I was studying in " Goga Askurava's Language Centre" one year ago and the teacher and atmosphere was very friendly. Why I liked and give recommendation to this Center, is the use of Simultaneous Interpretation Equipment during the Lesson, new texts are not given to learn by heart (as it was in my childhood and is still in other Centres) because with this methodology, you are not learning just orally but knowledge you are gaining is thorough and not superficial.

In 2009 I was 20 yo just graduated enthusiastic girl, with full of energy to do as much charity as was possible. So, my two friends and I have founded NGO (non governmental organization) which was dedicated to help young people. Our first big project was named “English for all”, where we were teaching English for free to everybody, who wanted to learn. The first and the only book we have used (and was the most helpful) was Mr. Askurava’s grammar book, it is absolutely easy to understand and interesting to learn. Past ten years and here you go, I came to learn in his center :-) had no clue that he founded one, it was just advice from my acquaintances that this center is one of the best in Tbilisi, and my teacher Ms. Nana is the co-author of the book.

So, my dears, sometimes life can bring you an unexpected surprises , and you need to be ready to chase it, encourage yourself that time is right now...! For new life, new rules, new adventures, everything is in your hands, and make sure you care! ❤️

I would highly recommend Goga Askuravas center to all potential customers! It was my son's first year in this school and result has exceeded my expectations ! As a result, he has improved his gram skills, as well as learned over 900 new words. Teacher Nuka is very welcoming and nice to communicate with !
